The 2026 Toyota RAV4 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a pair of electric motors that create a combined 226 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard and if you go with all-wheel drive, a third electric motor is added to drive the rear axle, raising the output to 236 horsepower.

For those in Midland, TX who are willing to recharge the battery, the RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid variant has an all-electric driving model suitable only for shorter distances. RAV4 plug-in hybrid models get 320 horsepower combined and feature standard all-wheel drive.

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 will offer a variety of single-tone and two-tone color options, including Meteor Shower, Everest, and Storm Cloud. The Woodland trim will feature a unique Urban Rock color, and the GR Sport will have an exclusive Supersonic Red with a Black roof.
