Performance
The 2023 4Runner will continue to be powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine, but it has been updated to produce more power. The new engine produces 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. The 4Runner will continue to be available with both two- and four-wheel drive.
The 4Runner will continue to be offered with a five-speed automatic transmission. However, Toyota now offers an optional six-speed manual transmission on two-wheel-drive models for manual transmission diehards. This is the first time a manual transmission has been offered on the 4Runner in over a decade.
The 2023 4Runner will have an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle. The SR5 and TRD Off-Road trim levels will have coil springs, while the Limited and Nightshade Edition trim levels will have air springs. The 2023 Toyota 4Runner has plenty of ground clearance and will allow you to tackle all Lovington, NM road conditions.
The 2023 4Runner will have four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The SR5 and TRD Off-Road trim levels will have 17-inch wheels, while the Limited and Nightshade Edition trim levels will have 18-inch wheels.
