Our Permian Toyota team has a goal to help motorists keep their cars well-maintained. Your vehicle's cooling system is important because it moves heat away from the engine. When your vehicle's cooling system isn't working, it can cause aluminum heads to warp and head gaskets to blow. It can even cause complete engine failure.

Your vehicle's cooling system has five primary components, which include the water pump, thermostat, radiator, radiator hoses, and radiator cap. It's absolutely necessary that your cooling system is running effectively and circulating antifreeze to dissipate heat.

It's important to have your radiator flushed on a regular basis to help keep the engine running smoothly. If you don't know how often you should have your radiator flushed, check your owner's manual, or you can ask one of our service technicians. Have your radiator inspected immediately if your vehicle overheats shortly after starting or you notice a puddle of antifreeze under your vehicle.
